Content may disturb, violence and horror.

Shark attack scenes are shown through the film, with some including bloody injuries. There is a consistent sense of threat each time someone enters the water. Sound, lighting and jump scares are used to ensure viewers are consistently on edge. Some of the more challenging scenes are:

In the opening scene a crew watches sharks attacking a group of people in the water from the cameras on the boat until the feed is cut. Blood is visible in the footage and you can hear people screaming. A woman is dragged down until her eardrums pop, blood comes out of her ears.

A shark comes up from under the water and swallows a woman whole. This causes a panic and others fall into the water. Different characters have their arms and legs bitten off. This is shown in quick shots, the camera doesn’t linger but some detail of the injuries are shown. In the following scene there are lots of people with injuries in hospital where you see a bit of blood but the camera focuses on an interaction rather than the injuries.
