Domestic violence

There is reference to historic domestic violence faced by the main character’s mother, which led to the killing of her father.

Violence

The violence is mild and not bloody, and includes:

• A child is kidnapped, and deliberately placed in a diabetic coma.
• A character is hit by a car.
• A character ends up with a graze  ongraze on their face.
• Guns are shot at people.
• There is the threat of a bomb.

Offensive language

There is occasional use of the words “b*tch”, “sh*t” and “f*ck”.
