Bloody violence
Characters are constantly under threat and in dangerous situations throughout the series, but the violence is generally presented in a fast-paced spy thriller style. Violence includes bloody injuries, hand-to hand combat, gun violence and tense hostage situations. The strongest scenes include:
- A brutal close-quarters fight involving knives and improvised weapons, including a nail gun. During the fight, one character has plastic wrapped over his face and struggles to breathe.
- Two characters fight underwater, repeatedly preventing each other from reaching the surface for air.
- A car explodes, killing the occupants. Dead bodies are briefly visible afterwards, though there is little graphic detail.
- Following an explosion onboard a plane, the aircraft crashes, killing everyone onboard. The incident is later linked to a terrorist attack.
- An assassin drugs victims by secretly putting substances into their drinks. He later takes a character hostage and connects them to an IV containing a type of truth serum while attempting to force information out of them.
- In several scenes, characters are shot and left with visible bullet wounds or are killed. In one particularly strong scene, a character is shot in the head at point-blank range. The death is later staged to appear as a suicide.
Offensive language
Characters occasionally use offensive language such as “f*ck” and “sh*t.
