Suicide themes

A patient is found on the hospital’s roof contemplating suicide. The junior doctor convinces them to come back inside. The scene is brief.

Content that may disturb

The series is set in a hospital, and many scenes contain realistic and bloody injuries and surgical procedures. Strong examples include:

  • A pregnant patient in lots of pain is induced and delivers newborn prematurely. There is a close-up shot of cutting the umbilical cord and the placenta. There is a large pool of blood on the hospital bed due to haemorrhaging. Both mother and baby survive.
  • A patient is found collapsed and unconscious with blue lips. After a failed attempt at resuscitation, the patient dies.
  • Close-up shots of a patient undergoing appendicectomy (appendix removal).

Sexual themes

Characters make sexual references jokingly, including about having an erection and blowing someone. A character feels up another character’s groin.

Offensive language

Offensive language is used casually and includes “s**t”, “f**k”, “f**ing”, and “ass”.
