Violence

This series contains animated sci-fi violence where characters shoot and stab each other with futuristic laser weapons. Many characters are killed onscreen in mostly non-bloody ways, and there are explosions.

Some of the strongest moments of violence include:

  • A character is impaled through the back by two light sabers. We see burn holes, but there is no blood.
  • In one scene, a large four-armed alien man is shot in the head, but we see this from behind, so the bullet hole is not shown.
  • There are intense high-speed chases on speeder vehicles where characters are pushed off and implied to be killed, however we only see them fall.
  • A man hires two young boys to help him rob a bar. Later, the man shoots and kills the owner, whilst the boys watch on in horror.

Sad scenes

In the opening scene of the show, a character carries his dead partner to a burial pool and lays her body in it. After he leaves, she is brought back to life, at the expense of never being able to see him again.

Two young boys are separated for life when one is arrested and one escapes, which some younger viewers might find saddening.

A street shootout results in a father being killed and his young son cries over his dead body.
