The following information breaks down the film's rating and content warnings. It does not mention any character names or delve into plot points. If necessary, we occasionally include minor spoilers to help keep audiences informed about what they are watching, especially when it relates to sexual violence.

Sexual violence

A character is forced to participate in a ‘prison game’ where two people within a drawn circle must try and r*pe each other before the other person does. He is forced to play the game while the other appears to consent and even enjoy playing the game. An ex-prison guard explains this is the game they would force prisoners to play when things got boring late at night. The scene is drawn out and is quite shocking. It ends when the consenting character is unable to become erect and penetrate the other non-consenting character.

Graphic violence

Graphic violence is frequent, gory, and often prolonged. Despite the film's comedic elements, there are numerous scenes featuring highly detailed depictions of violence, including bloody injuries, stabbings, shootings, strangulation, and physical fights. While some violent moments are initially presented in a humorous way, the intensity escalates significantly and may be shocking for viewers. The strongest scenes include:

  • A character is stabbed multiple times in the back with kitchen knives. Blood is visible flowing from the wounds and from the character's mouth.
  • A character is shot in the head, with the injury shown in graphic detail, including most of the head being blown off.
  • A character is shot in the foot. After removing her boot, she attempts to push her severed toes back into place.
  • A character is drowned after being tied to a bag of rocks.
  • A character's face and hand are pushed towards a lawnmower. He loses several fingers, although his face is not injured.
  • Another character's chest is forced into a lawnmower, with blood seen spurting from the sides of the machine.
  • A character is struck with a sock containing a pool ball.

Sex scenes

There are a couple of scenes depicting sexual activity between adult characters. The strongest scenes include: A man's buttocks are briefly visible, and the woman makes sexualised vocalisations and specific requests during the encounters. In one scene, the woman is bent over a table while the man is positioned behind her. While the scenes are relatively brief and not overly explicit, they may feel somewhat jarring due to the woman's vocalisations and the presence of another character in the same room, behaving as though nothing unusual is happening. The contrast creates an awkward, comedic absurdity, although some viewers may still find the scenes uncomfortable or strange.

Offensive language

Offensive language is used frequently including “f*ck”, “motherf*cker”, “sh*t”, “d*ck”, “b*tch” and more. The language is used in fear, anger and casually.

Helplines:

The sexual violence could be upsetting for some viewers, especially for those who have gone through similar experiences. If you are struggling with what you have seen on-screen please reach out for help. If you or someone you know needs to talk:
