Violence

Throughout the film there are scenes with physical violence and gun violence. The guns depicted in the film shoot lasers instead of real bullets. There are moments with explosions and characters using swords to stab and fight with each other.

A character’s arm is chopped off. This scene is brief, and no detail or blood is shown. A character is stabbed through the abdomen causing them to fall over and yell in pain. No blood or wound detail is shown.

A character is shot with an arrow. Before they take out the arrow, some blood squirts from the wound. It happens suddenly and might surprise some people who are watching.

Cruelty

Nimona is chased by villagers due to her special powers. In a brief scene, Nimona transforms into a bear and tries to frighten the angry mob as they attempt to attack her with torches and pitchforks.

Horror

Nimona transforms into a child and tries to scare other characters. There are moments when we see a close-up shot of her making a scary face with big fangs and eyes. Most of the time it’s followed by humour. This can be quite scary and might frighten younger viewers.

Offensive language

There is one minor use of offensive language; the characters says “sh*t” but is interrupted before they finish saying the word.
