Violence and scary scenes
There is frequent fantasy violence and peril, including stampeding animals, giant spiders, a lion attack, gunfire and characters being chased or threatened. Some scenes may be frightening for younger children. No graphic injuries are shown.
The film has several tense and frightening sequences involving wild animals, sudden appearances, and characters being trapped or attacked. The overall tone is adventurous, but some moments may be intense for younger viewers. The film uses a repeated drumming sound to build suspense which many viewers have told us this was one of the first things that scared them as a child.
