Why did it get this rating?

This series was self-rated by Disney Plus. You can find out more about self-rating by streaming providers here.

The series deals with a terminal cancer diagnosis through humour, and Molly’s sexual reawakening journey. There is reference to childhood sexual assault and trauma which is briefly talked about in the first episode.

Sexual themes

A character talks about how they like to be ‘hog-tied’ and goes on to explain further about the experience and what it feels like.

Nudity and sex scenes

The opening scene cuts to flashbacks of a previous sexual encounter. We briefly see breasts and movement, and can see a man’s head between Molly's legs.

Molly wants to give her husband a blow job: we cut to her going down on him, there’s moaning and movement. We don’t see any detail and both characters are mostly clothed.

Offensive language

Strong words are used throughout in a comedic way and also as slang for sex, such as “f*ck”, “sad, sick, unf*ckable wife”, “I was too sad to sh*t”, “Jesus, f*ck!”, and “I felt that in my f*cking arsh*le”.
