Violence
Dune: Prophecy contains some violence that may be upsetting for some viewers. The strongest moments include:
- A child burns to death. Their actual injuries are not overly graphic but you see them screaming and squirming in pain which is quite unsettling. In a brief shot, you later see the child dead on the ground.
- A woman also burns to death, this time the injuries are more graphic as you see her skin scorch and turn bloody.
- Through mind control, a character is forced to drive a knife into their own throat. A blurry shot shows the knife going into their neck and the character collapses. They are then shown lifeless on the ground with a pool of blood surrounding them.
