Sexual themes

There is light-hearted discussion about “making out”, “hickeys”, “orgasms”, and “eating face” among the teenage characters, and a few kisses are shown.

Content that may be upsetting

The story revolves around the terminal illness of the main character’s mother, and the grief of the family as they come to terms with her pending death. We see the mother throw up from sickness, and wipe blood away from her mouth. We see her gradual decline in strength, where she spends more time in bed and resting. She faints in one scene.
