Bloody violence

These seasons contain bloody fantasy violence, with some bloody deaths and injuries. The violence is stylised in a way that lessens the weight of it, but it remains brutal and intense at times.

Some of the strongest moments of violence include:

  • A demon slices a person’s body into tiny pieces using a single piece of thread, with lots of blood shown.
  • A girl is hung up and tortured by a demon with blood spilling out of her thighs and arms.
  • One demon sticks his finger through a woman’s forehead, causing her body to fold and bones crunch before she melts into a pile of goo with her teeth and veins visible.
  • There is a cruel character who murders many of his soldiers, ripping their heads off, crushing them and exploding them into large piles of bloody gore. This scene is quite drawn-out, and graphic.

Horror

There are demons that take the appearance of spiders, with depictions of webs, poisonous bites, and creepy crawling around.

Scenes where people turn into demons or eat human flesh may scare or be intense for some viewers.

Content that may disturb

This show deals with dark themes, such as death, abuse, murder, and trauma.

One character’s past shows her being abused by her parents and being forced into slavery.

Helplines:

The abuse themes could be upsetting for some viewers, especially for those who have gone through similar experiences. If you are struggling with what you have seen on-screen please reach out for help. If you or someone you know needs to talk:
