Horror

The film deals with psychological, supernatural, and body horror with plenty of jump scares. The body horror includes:

  • A character finds her hair crawling into another’s open mouth, choking him.
  • Body parts fuse together, including eyelashes, pupils, limbs, bones, and sinews.
  • Bodies contort unnaturally, straining towards the other. Two characters have to cut their fused limbs apart with a power saw.
  • Characters become stuck together during sex, the man’s penis is shown as his partner tries to get it out of her.

Violence

A grotesque creature menaces a man and in self-defence he slices its fingers and stabs its neck. A character cuts open a woman’s arm, blood swells and spills from the wound.

Sex scenes

The couple have sex in a toilet stall. While she straddles him and they’re both fully clothed, we do see close-up detail of his penis when she pushes him away. There are some references to sex through the film.

Content that may disturb

There is a brief scene where a character tries to self-sacrifice by hold a knife against his neck but this attempt is aborted.

Offensive language

There is strong language in the film, with the word ‘f**k’ used as exclamations, or when talking about sex.
