Violence

The film contains frequent supernatural/fantasy action violence.

The strongest moments of violence include:

  • A monster tears off a character’s limbs
  • A snake sucks a character’s skin, with no blood shown
  • Characters are eaten alive by insects, though these scenes are not graphic as they simply disappear under a wave of the insects
  • In one scene, a character is stabbed and killed, but there is no blood shown

Scary scenes

The appearance of some characters, including the main villain, can be frightening for some, especially younger viewers. Insects are seen crawling under a man’s skin, before they skitter out of his mouth as he screams.
