Violence and frightening scenes

Despite the film's PG rating, this film contains moments that may frighten young viewers, such as scenes with blood, injuries, and death. Some of the strongest moments include:

  • The hunting of dinosaurs may be distressing for younger viewers, especially scenes showing injuries, like a baby dinosaur’s broken leg.
  • A character's face is chewed up by a dinosaur until he is eventually killed.
  • A raptor is impaled on a spike.
  • There are a number of suspenseful chase scenes where the loves of characters are in danger, including a young girl.

Coarse language

The film contains occasional coarse language such as “sh*t,” and “son of a b*tch”
