Why did it get this rating?
This film was cross-rated by the Film and Video Labelling Body. You can find out more about cross-rating here.
Violence and scary scenes
The film’s violence is played for laughs rather than realism. Characters use exaggerated voices, and there are dramatic moments—like two characters tumbling down a waterfall—which end with no real harm.
However, one dramatic scene where Kuzco is chased through the jungle by a pack of jaguars may be frightening for younger tamariki.
