Violence

The key theme of this film is the world being at risk of destruction due to a deadly weapon. There’s a bit of violence, including weapons like laser guns and pistols, as well as some physical fistfights with punching and kicking. No blood is shown. Some of the moments to look out for include:

  • A character is disintegrated after an energy overload.
  • A character is knocked out and taken to the hospital.
  • After being kicked and punched a character goes flying through a window.
  • Laser guns are used to shoot aliens and other characters.

Upsetting scenes

There are a few deaths that may be upsetting for younger viewers. A child character is killed after an explosion which is quite emotional, and a character sacrifices themself.

A drone attack kills two people, but this is not an overly emotional moment.

Coarse language

There are a few coarse words used including “bastard,” “hell,” and “bad ass.”
