Low-level violence

Smurfs contains some low-level cartoon violence including chase scenes, falling and explosions.

Mild coarse language

While there is no actual coarse language used, characters sometimes use the word ‘Smurf’ to replace curse words. For example, “I think I just Smurfed my pants,” and “let’s go Smurf that wizard up.” These lines are intended to be funny and are likely to go over the heads of younger viewers.
