What’s it about?

After the wealthy Mr. Dashwood dies, his second wife and her three daughters are left poor by the rules of inheritance. The older two daughters, and their contrasting personalities, are tested as they encounter love, betrayal and the pressures of life in 19th century England.

Mild themes

A woman’s cleavage is shown and there is one mild reference of a man leaving a woman after getting her pregnant.

During a medical procedure, a wound on a woman’s arm is shown with blood dripping out of it. A bowl full of dark blood is seen underneath the arm.

Coarse language is mild with one use of the word “b*tch.”
