Why did it get this rating?
Bloody violence and content that may disturb
Most of the violence is highly choreographed martial arts action.
Characters use bladed weapons, punch, kick, and throw energy blasts with supernatural strength. Weapons include spears, swords, knives, arrows, and axes. The spectacle is fast-paced and doesn’t tend to focus on injuries. Characters often have blood on their faces and clothes during and after battle. We see dead bodies, lying in rubble.
Occasionally, blood spurts from sword wounds or hands are severed by blades. The action moves on fast from these moments. One scene shows deep wounds closing through magic. There are also scenes where soldiers are cruel to prisoners of war and we see murdered men hanging by their necks from ropes.
