Adult themes, violence and scary scenes

While this content wouldn’t be scary to most viewers, even young tamariki, some might find a couple of scenes frightening. This series contains a storyline where characters eat sweets enhanced with magical sprinkle which make their eyes glow red and they act possessed. They chase other characters which could be frightening for some little kids.

Some scenes contain dark lighting, ominous music, and low-level scary sound effects to create suspense and minor jump scares.

Some of the scariest scenes include:

  • A possessed character with red eyes, fangs, and drool eats another character made of cotton candy.
  • One thrilling sequence involves flying car and motorbike chases where characters get lost in the woods. It is implied that a character beats and tortures another with an electric saw when we hear the sound effects, but it is not shown.
  • Cities are destroyed by tornadoes.
  • A main character appears to die briefly but is revealed to still be alive.
  • There is a fight scene where some blood is shown.

Characters eat sweets enhanced with magical sprinkles and become addicted to them: craving, drooling, and acting hypnotized.
