Violence
This film contains frequent superhero action fight scenes, where characters fight with hand-to-hand combat, gadgets, superpowers, and guns, leading to injury and sometimes death. General mayhem and city destruction occurs throughout the show, and in one scene the main characters are shot at by army tanks.
Scenes where Superman shoots his heat vision rays into his enemies’ foreheads may be rather impactful for some younger viewers. These scenes show small holes left in the victims’ foreheads afterwards, but there is no blood or gore.
In the episode 19, season two, Superman dives in front of a giant laser beam to stop it from killing his friends. We see his bones as he is electrocuted and evaporates into thin air. Though it is heavily implied that he is dead and may be emotionally impactful for some viewers, we later find out that he is still alive.
Frightening scenes
Tamariki might be scared by the appearances of some characters, such as the Joker, especially when he laughs maniacally after knocking someone out. Others include the various monster and alien-like characters.
