Violence

This series contains frequent violence. Characters use curse spells and weapons during battles with blood, injury, and death. Some of the characters are able to regenerate and the animated style may lessen the impact of violence. Some of the strongest instances include:

  • A character has the ability to make people’s heads explode when he touches them. This is shown several times, and bodies without heads, or with partially exploded heads are shown.
  • A villain has the ability to control blood and use it as a weapon. He turns it into a bullet-like sharp object and sends it through the heads of several hostages, killing them.
  • There is a scene where a character kills many transfigured humans in ultra-fast time. Heads and body parts are shown flying and afterwards the ground and walls are splattered with blood.
  • When asked to help two young girls, an evil character explodes one of their heads and slices off the other.

Horror scenes

There is monster horror, supernatural horror and body horror. This includes:

  • Some of the evil supernatural powers use extra body parts or distorted body parts that have an unsettling effect.
  • The cursed spirits transform humans into monsters called ‘transfigured humans’ and become brightly coloured and aggressive. Some of these are big enough to destroy buildings.
  • A character undoes stitches on his head to lift the top of his skull and show his brain, which had been implanted there.
  • A character eats the decaying fingers of an old sorcerer which gives him powers, but he is also possessed by this sorcerer, gets strange markings on his face and extra eyes.

Offensive language

There is some offensive language used for emphasis and in stressful situations offensive language used includes ‘F**k’, ‘hell’, ‘bastard’, ‘crap’ and ‘shit’.
