Why did it get this rating?

Sex

The film contains explicit sex scenes and nudity. This includes masturbation, ejaculation, sex (including group sex), and oral sex. Some scenes are clearly shown, and others are glimpsed in a barrage of sexual imagery. This is strong sexual content intended for adult audiences.

Horror

Elements of psychological horror arise between characters and their clones. The film’s grim perspective on the behaviour of people unbound from consequence is another disturbing theme.

The film also features body horror. This includes gory violence, malleable bodies, and a surreal nightmare sequence.

Crime

Crimes like manslaughter and a home invasion, as well as the use of a fictional drug, occur in this nihilistic story of callousness and excess.

Violence and cruelty

There are various scenes of graphic and bloody violence and cruelty. Characters are executed, people are shot, and a particularly brutal scene involves a pulverised face.
