Violence

This film contains frequent depictions of fantasy action sequences where magical creatures and wizards use magic against each other, sometimes causing harm and death. This film contains dark themes, including torture, trauma, and war.

Some of the strongest moments of violence include:

  • A villain slays everybody in a large lobby room, with their lifeless bodies spread around the room, but there is no gore.
  • One man is brutally killed by a giant snake while making disturbing sounds of pain. We see the outline of the snake attacking the man from behind a stained-glass window.
  • A character is burned alive, and another is frozen before exploding into dust, not bloody.
  • Near the end of the film, a young student is seen dead on the ground with a Death Eater eating her neck, with some blood but no gore.
