Youth Advisory Panel comments

Three members of the Classification Office’s Youth Advisory Panel attended the screening of this film and gave feedback on the impact. They said:

  • The film had a comedic tone rather than scary.
  • Some of the extended scenes where it was clear death was coming made them squeamish.
  • One said close-ups of hands being injured were more disturbing than the deaths.
  • The franchise is well understood to be gory, and the audience will go in expecting to see lots of blood and gore.
