Violence
Weapons such as guns, bombs, torpedoes and arrows are used by characters. There are scenes where characters kick, punch, and use martial arts on one another.
When one character gets angry, he destroys property and punches a camera lens being used to film him.
No injuries are shown and a lot of the violence is meant to be funny.
Scary scenes
One of the characters dresses up as the mother of Gru’s adopted children and kidnaps them. When he takes off the mask, the little girls are scared.
The same character designs a large robot of himself which shoots laser beams and tries to destroy the city, and he also designs an army of little dolls with glowing eyes. Some tamariki may find these creations scary.
