Why did it get this rating?

This film game was cross-rated by the Film and Video Labelling Body. You can find out more about cross-rating here.

Violence

In one scene, a character pulls a knife and says “someone’s going to die tonight.” In a flashback scene the same character is shown grabbing a man by the head and throwing him. We then see him tied to a big shark with dynamite strapped to his body, before he leaps from a plane and into a volcano which then explodes.

No injuries are shown and a lot of the violence is meant to be funny.

Content that may disturb or scare young viewers

Purple minions are depicted as evil, violent, and zombie-like, which may be scary for younger tamariki.

Sad scenes

In one scene, a main character leaves for Australia which is very upsetting for the other characters.
