Violence
The film contains regular intense and violent scenes with many jump scares that may unsettle or frighten some viewers, especially those with fears of sharks or deep water. There are many deaths, and blood is often seen but nothing too gory.
Some of the strongest moments include:
- A woman is grabbed by a shark and we see from a distance as her body is torn in two before the shark swallows her.
- A shark bites off a man’s arm. We briefly and clearly see the leftover stub of his arm as it squirts out blood.
- An alive, injured man in a stretcher is thrown against an underwater facility’s window, causing his offscreen death.
Offensive language
The film involves the use of offensive language, with words like “f*ck,” “sh*t,” and other mild profanities.
