Violence and horror scenes
The film contains regular intense scenes with many jump scares that may frighten or unsettle some viewers, especially those with fears of sharks or deep water. Blood is often seen but nothing too gory or graphic.
Some of the strongest moments include:
- One character’s leg is bitten by a shark, we see lots of blood and hear flesh tearing apart. Though other characters are also injured, the action occurs quickly, and the pain and injuries of the victims are not dwelled on
- Two people watch as a man is eaten by a shark, with his dead body seen in the bloodied water
- The characters light up a flare and uncover three sharks circling around them in the dark, which may scare some viewers

Offensive language
The film involves infrequent use of offensive language, with the words “f*ck” and “sh*t” used one to two times each.
