Violence

Us contains frequent depictions of fighting and violence, where characters are stabbed, burned, and killed in many brutal ways.

Some of the strongest moments of violence include:

  • Two men fight on a boat with fists and a baseball bat, before one of them is chopped up by the boat’s propeller. There is some blood in the water, but it is very easy to miss since it occurs at nighttime
  • Several cloned people eat rabbits alive, with lots of blood on their faces as the rabbits squeal
  • A young boy walks into fire and is burned alive
  • A teenage girl is flung from the top of a car to the woods, where she is later seen dying while upside down

Offensive language

The film contains some offensive language, with words like “f*ck,” “sh*t,” and “ass.”

Horror

The entire film has a very creepy and intense tone, with many characters having scary appearances and voices. Alot of scenes occur in low light or at nighttime which can also add to the dark tone.
