From 1 October 2012 there are several changes to the Films, Videos, and Publications Classification Act 1993, and the Films, Videos, and Publications Classification Regulations 1994.
Changes include:
The register of classification decisions for decisions made on or after 1 October 2012 must be established and maintained in an electronic medium.
The register page of each classification decision will be made available to the public in electronic form as a pdf from the NZ Register of Classification Decisions
The monthly List of Decisions is no longer required - this will impact on applications for applying for a review of decisions to the Board of Review.
From 1 October 2012, the Classification Office will stop producing a monthly List of Decisions (LOD). The last list produced will be the September list which will be published on 9 October 2012. For decisions appearing in the September 2012 LOD, the deadlines for applications for review are:

There is now provision for labels to be printed directly onto slicks and posters. Digital labels can be obtained by contacting the Film and Video Labelling Body.
