The Chief Censor must give permission before a publication can be submitted under Section 13. The Chief Censor will take into account the information provided on your application form in making this decision.
If permission is granted, you will be informed and the censorship process will begin. If permission is not granted you will be given written notice, including the reasons for the refusal. You will also receive a refund of the fee you paid.
If the Chief Censor has granted permission for a submission to be considered, other parties with an interest in the classification (e.g. the distributor of a publication) will be invited to make a written submission.
